FROM THE OWNER

Throughout the course of over 20 years, I have come to truly value the exciting process involved in property rehabilitation. My early teens forward, much of my time was spent under the guidance of my dad — a family-oriented Albanian immigrant, second generation custom home builder and proprietor — renovating residential and commercial properties, and eventually managing major insurance losses throughout Philadelphia. An abundance of education and resources were made available to me throughout this mentorship. To further enhance my industry experience and gain additional perspective, I purposefully worked as an apprentice on foundation and carpentry crews, and as an estimator/lead project manager for a nationwide mold remediation company. Determined to manage projects more independently, create my own brand, and integrate my experience into one vision, I launched the design/build company — Tradewinds Renovation and Design. In doing so, I made a commitment to myself to provide my clients with consistent communication and production, a full array of in-house design and professional consultation, fine tune every project to completion, and deliver a level of personalized service not often recognized within the industry. That is our culture, and I ensure my employees and dedicated sub-contractors honor that commitment. Every project presents its own unique challenges. WHEN TO CALL OUR COMPANY

If you are seeking to renovate a single property, complex, a specific room or level, changes to an existing floor plan, or build additional space, we can help you. Each of these may or may not involve electrical and plumbing components. If so, we tailor the lighting, outlets, and switch locations to compliment the space and/or your lifestyle. Our standard practice during a project is to remove and replace plumbing supply and drain lines, and all associated valves. Should we come across other mechanical components which are dated, unsafe, or could lead to a potential failure, we bring those items to your attention prior to closing the walls, floors or ceilings. In addition to your selected finish trim package, our signature showpieces include decorative custom fireplaces, grand islands, and fully customized closet spaces. Ultimately, our goal is to provide you with a final product that presents as closely as possible to new construction.

OUR WALKTHROUGH PROCESS

SCOPE OF WORK

We will ask for the main goal of your project. We will identify the scope or summary of work that you are seeking to have completed and what that will entail.

TIMELINES

We will provide a project start date and realistic completion date. We will discuss your material preferences and the associated timelines given your selections.

COSTS

You will be given a range of costs that reflects the scope of work we have discussed. Should that coincide with your preferences and budget, a formal proposal will be produced and reviewed with you prior to a contract.

RELATIONSHIP

Our owner is your sole point of contact before during and after the completion of the project. At a minimum, we are happy to serve our island neighbors and provide insight. You will have begun a relationship with us!
